FRANK WATTY was born on the island of Dominica, West Indies.
He received his early education at the Dominica Grammar School
and subsequently attended the University of the West Indies,
graduating with a B.Sc. (Economics). He pursued graduate studies
at the University of Waterloo completing the M.A. degree in Urban
and Regional Planning and Resource Utilization.
He has worked in the Caribbean and in Canada in the fields of
economics, urban planning, environmental planning and the ecology,
and served as a professional adjudicator, arbitrator and mediator
with the Government of Ontario. Frank is married to Ruth Ann (nee
Garlough) and they are parents to two sons.
He is currently the Principal of Frank Watty Consultancies Inc.
Economic, Land Use and Tourism Planners, located in Waterloo,
Ontario, Canada.
